Shibpur Dinobundhoo College Howrah Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure is not good at all and could be improved in many ways. There is no proper ground for sports activities and the classes are not up to date. There is a college library but it doesn’t have many books or resources. Overall, it is the weakest part of the college according to me, but it's understandable as the fees are very low.

Campus life is very average as the fests that are scheduled are irregular and there is no social clubs or students club available. The main downside about this college is there is no college canteen that we could get food from, so we mostly eat from outside. The infrastructure of this college is mediocre. It is quite big in size, although, the inside of this college is not very attractive. For a college of its status, it definitely leaves much to be desired. There is a college library available. There is a playground inside our college itself but that is quite small in size so not much can be done there and the campus size is also not very big.

The campus life of this college is once again alright, not something mind-blowing and not below the standards as well. Fests and other engagement activities are organised here but since I’m from the covid batch, we didn't have much of a campus life for the first two years. Total size of our campus is one acre. There are 3 three-story buildings which are well decorated and each building has around ten big classrooms, three toilet rooms and a common room where we spend our time with friends. There is a large playground which is in front of the college and where the students are allowed to play cricket, football, badminton, etc. there are facilities for playing carom and table tennis next to the playground. The equipment for playing games is well maintained.

There are five laboratories for the students of the science department. There is a library where a lot of students of the college go to read and collect their books. There is a gym room where we get facilities to exercise. There is a small shop where we can easily buy something whenever we need to.

Our Campus life is very helpful to every student who can easily get a chance to explore their creativity. The college fest generally starts from February to mid-march on the playground of the college. Magicians, singers, dancers are hired to perform in the college fest. The program lasts about three days.

All the students and all the faculties of the college can attend and participate in this program. In this college, police are deployed to continue the college fest very well.Read Full Review
