Hindu College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is good. It's green and I specially love the sculpture in front of the Science block. The auditorium is an amazing. The classes are good enough I'd say. The classes do have screens and boards both and all in all it’s fine.

The crowd is diverse. There's different kind of people from all sorts of places around India pursuing a whole bunch of courses and participating in different activities and societies as per interests and it’s a vibe. Since I just started, I have only heard about how awesome fests are but will get to experience that whenever they start to happen. Infrastructure is honestly not top notch but still it's aesthetic. We have 2 canteens with amazing food and 2 auditoriums which are just incredibly beautiful. Our Amphitheatre is also very pretty and events are organised on regular basis there. The classrooms are of various sizes depending upon the strength of students in the course. Classrooms are air conditioned. There is a pretty decent library too.

The fest of Hindu College is something you will never regret watching. It's fantastic and it is called Mecca. The societies are very active and vibrant. The participation in elections is also good here. The crowd is very diverse and you can meet people from every background here. There is even a north east cell, along with LGBTQ+ supportive society which is really very impressive.Read Full Review

Hindu College is divided into various blocks: the old building, the faculty block, the new academic block, relaxing research centre, Bharat ram centre and many more (like a sports complex, a compost pit, etc.). The college also has its own rainwater harvesting mechanism to promote sustainability. There are two auditoriums in the college: The Sanganeria Auditorium (Main auditorium) and The Sushila Devi Auditorium. The amphitheater next to a small canteen is the most loved hangout spot of the students here. There is also a main canteen called as ‘Old canteen’. Apart from the sports ground, the college has multiple lawns for students to hand around. There is also a library divided into two sections: normal section and reserved section. The reserved section includes precious material for students to learn from.

Overall, the college life is good. However, you may face some difficulty making friends at first, as the people here can be quite competitive sometimes. Conversely, it is also a good thing as you adapt to the environment and it helps you grow in many aspects. The college tests like Suruchi and Mecca are the heart of this college. There are many societies in this college, which you can join to explore more. The crowd is really good and sophisticated.Read Full Review
