Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus has 6 blocks. It has computer labs, geography labs, seminar rooms, discussion rooms, girl’s common rooms, etc. It is well equipped. The only drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi. Library is too well equipped and is spacious. There is a garden, sports ground, benches, etc. Overall the campus is quite good.

The crowd is very good. Most students are from UP and Bihar. But they are very friendly. Fests are not conducted often. Societies only conduct their cultural fests. There is ‘n’ number of societies. Be it for Dance, Drama, Music, Sports, Debate, Fashion, Consulting, etc. Other activities are also conducted.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the college was not exceptional till last year but now the college is continuously working in this area. Many smart classes have been built and overall score of infrastructure is now improving. New auditorium is also under construction. Hopefully this year it will be completed. Our college also has a big ground.

Overall campus life is average. The reason behind this is attendance, as there is a compulsory rule that 66.67% attendance is required of the whole semester to write exams or otherwise you will not be able to write some exams. As of current times, there is an ongoing construction for building maintenance and room availability for curricular activities. The college has a beautiful infrastructure from the outside however some buildings remained for development like the E-block, which is hopeful to be well-constructed by the time we are back after summer break. Some classes are really well built with like smart TV, cushioned seats, good lighting. There are 2 grounds, and both are well maintained, one is rather small, and the other hosts matches and games. College also has an indoor games room accessible to all the students and teachers. There is a canteen and a cafe shack, water coolers on every floor of the buildings. There is a newly built lift facility as well but for the disabled. Overall, its good but it can be improved.

The crowd is diversified and it's great to know people from legit different backgrounds. The best part is the seniors, they are kind of a good support and inspiration as there is no such ragging involved anywhere near us. Teachers are friendly too; the staff is rigid over entry but soft hearted as we communicate with them inside the campus. The societies play a major role in any college students' life, there is a whole bunch of SOCs available for one, in every department whether its arts or commerce. I'm a part of marketing, debating, singing SOC and NSS. Marketing is rather new SOC in my college, but it has come out as one of the best and debating has an English plus Hindi wing, it is one of the reputed societies in the debating circuit. Evening's NSS has flourished and conducted several inter college events. It has brought out so many opportunities for the members. There is a Finance SOC, economics SOC, drama SOC, etc. With society come so many opportunities.Read Full Review
