Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University was established in 2007. It provides higher education in the field of management, science, and engineering. It is ‘Deemed To Be University’ which is approved by UGC and AICTE. The university is accredited by NAAC with “A++” grade, NBA, NABH, and NABL, and recognised by ICAR and ABET.

SOA has a Training and Placement Cell which provides support, training, and guidance to the students. The Cell organises training programs for the students which helps them in enhancing their skills catering to the requirements of the industry. It also provides career counseling, mock interviews, group discussions, etc.
Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Marriott Hotel, Tech Mahindra, Taj Group of Hotels, IBM, etc. are the recruiting companies providing opportunities to the students.
SOA provides state of the art infrastructure and facilities to the students. The University has Laboratories, Auditorium, Sports facilities, Hostel, Canteen, Transportation, Clubs, Library which has a wide collection of Books, Journals, Magazines, Periodicals, Databases, E-Books, E-Journals, Manuscripts, etc. Library provides book bank services, reference services, OPAC, etc. for the students.
Siksha 'O' Anusandhan SOA University was established in 1996. Situated in Bhubaneswar, SOA University provides students with 60 courses in UG and PG. The University directs its own admission test, called Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT). The institute constantly tries to create an academic atmosphere that helps in student’s growth to the maximum level. It functions out of a modern, well-equipped campus situated in a peaceful environment. It aims to become a leader among institutions by making their graduates achieve excellence in aspects of every profession.
To take admission in UG, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with 45% marks.. Candidates can also join the university by passing the SAAT test conducted by the institution. The age limit to join the institution is 35 years and anyone above 17 years can apply for the admission. The institution is approved by UGC and accredited to NAAC and NABL.
Attendance must be above 80% to give the final examination. To sit in the Semester End Examination, candidates must meet the required percentage of attendance. The institute received the third prize for the ‘Swachh Campus’ nationally this year. It is ranked 25th among all the universities in India. It ranks 32nd in the list of Engineering colleges and 21st in Medical colleges of India by the NIRF in 2019. NAAC has given the university Grade ‘A’ for its excellent infrastructure and curriculum.
The library has a massive collection of books from both foreign and Indian authors on different areas of studies. There are more than 50,000 books and more than 150 national/international journals in the library. It has its digital library with a subscription to various digital libraries. The library provides book bank facilities, internet browsing & online searches, photocopying services, digital library, and CCTV surveillance for the students. The college has one Central Library, 9 Institutional, and 42 Department Libraries each fully equipped with all the necessities.
