Rajendra University

The university has a well established Placement Cell that looks after the professional needs of the students. It helps the student in developing professional skills and knowledge through training and practicals. The cell maintains healthy relations with the recruiting companies and invites them for on-campus placement drives. The university has also established a Career Counselling Cell that assists and guides the students throughout their academic journey and helps them in understanding their potential and talent.

Located at Patnagarh Road, the university is spread in an area of 200 acres and is surrounded by lush green campus. The nearest airport from the campus is Veer Surendra Sai Airport which is approx 175 kms away from the campus and the nearest railway station is the Balangir Railway Junction. The campus of the university is student-friendly and safe as ragging is strictly prohibited here. To maintain discipline and peace inside the university’s premises, various cells and committees are formed such as SC/ST Cell, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee, Women Cell, Grievance Redressal Cell, and Anti-Ragging Committee. The university has excellent smart classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements, internet facilities, cafeteria, sports, labs, and health facilities along with other amenities and services like:

• Library: At Rajendra University, the students are facilitated with excellent library. The library of the university is built in an area of 5600 square feet, fulfilling all the academic requirements of the students. It provides the students with both print and digital study and research materials, covering all the courses. There are approximately 54000+ books, national & foreign journals, periodicals, newspapers, project works, e-books, e-journals, magazines, etc. A well lit reading room is also available in the library which is built in an area of 1400 square feet.
• Hostel: The University has 5 hostels in total with required facilities, out of which three are dedicated to boys and two are for girls. The hostel campus is friendly, independent, and allows the student to explore around. Each room of the hostel is furnished, spacious, modern, and clean. The students are facilitated with 24x7 running water, electricity, drinking water, etc. For the entertainment of the hostellers, there is a common room, a TV room, a reading area, and various games like carom, table tennis, badminton, etc. Mess facilities are also provided to the hostellers that offer delicious and healthy meals to the students, prepared in a hygienic space.
