RKSD College

RKSD College has a Career Guidance and Counseling Cell that facilitates a vast range of career opportunities for the students. The cell conducts various informative sessions and discussions that help in enhancing the industry knowledge of the students. The cell also focuses on developing the technical and soft skills of the students in order to increase their employability. It also helps in making the students aware about the latest industry trends. In addition to these, it organises placement drives, career guidance workshops and counseling sessions for the students.

The campus of RKSD College is spread over 11.52 acres. The college has a peaceful and lush green environment. The college has different blocks for Science, Arts and Commerce courses. The campus is 24x7 under CCTV surveillance for security purposes. There are around 103 classrooms that are equipped with internet facilities and modern ICT tools. Along with this, there are more than 30 smart rooms in the college that are equipped with latest facilities for making exchange of information more effective. Also, the overall campus has free access to Wi-Fi facilities. The college campus is equipped with various amenities like:

• Laboratories: The College has around 19 laboratories that have various and latest instruments that help students in gaining practical knowledge regarding their respective area of study. The college has laboratories for different departments like Math, Physics, Computer, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, and more. A language lab is also present in the campus that is equipped with different audio-visual equipment that are used for developing effective communication and language skills. 
• Library: The library at RKSD College contains a rich collection of learning and reading resources for catering to diverse academic requirements of the students and faculty members. The library has a total number of 50,882 books. The students can also access different periodicals, national-international journals, magazines, newspapers, and e-database in the library. It is centrally air conditioned. The faculty members and students can also access reprography and internet facilities in the library.
• Conference Hall & Seminar Hall: The College has 7 seminar halls which also include 1 committee room and 1 conference room. Various official meetings of college authorities are held here. In addition to this, these are also favorable venue for conducting debates, seminars, workshops, extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities.
• Auditorium: RKSD College has a sound proof and air conditioned auditorium that is equipped with audio-visual facilities that are helpful in organising intellectual sessions, ceremonies and big events. It has a capacity to accommodate about 500 people at once.
• Canteen: The College has separate canteens for boys and girls. There are 2 spacious canteens in the campus with proper seating facilities for students. These canteens offer fresh and hygienically prepared refreshments to the students and faculty members at pocket friendly rates.
• Sports Facilities: In order to keep students engaged and physically fit, there are different sport facilities that are offered by the college. The college offers an international standard sports environment to the students which includes facilities for different indoor and outdoor games like basketball, wrestling, judo, shooting, badminton, football, cricket, and more. A swimming pool is also available on campus. In addition to this, a multipurpose gym with latest exercising equipment is also available for the students and faculty members within the campus.
• Dispensary: There is a dispensary in the college that offers medicines and first aid facilities to the students. Also in case of any emergency, medical services to students are provided by the nearby clinics and hospitals.
