National Post Graduate College, Lucknow was established in the year 1974 as a Public (Autonomous) Educational Institution. National Post Graduate College Lucknow is approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC, and is affiliated with University of Lucknow, Lucknow. National Post Graduate College offers admission in the field of Management, Humanities and Science at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Certificate level. Dr. S. P Singh is the Principal.
National Post Graduate College Lucknow started its academic curriculum from the year 1974. The College is approved by AICTE and is accredited by NAAC. It comes under the jurisdiction of Lucknow University and is the only Autonomous College of the affiliating Lucknow University.
Vision: The College works with a vision to provide education based on moral values. It is committed to instill ethical values combined with the internal talents of the students to make them responsible citizens.
Mission: The College aims to achieve the overall development of the students who are dedicated to serve the society at large. It intends to provide an environment where students can develop their personality.
The college offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Computer faculties. The medium of instruction for the program run by the college is either Hindi or English language. More than 20 UG and PG degrees are provided by the college in different areas. Some of the courses run by the college are: B.A, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA.JMC, B.Voc, B.Sc, M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Voc, MPH, and more.
Admission for the programs like BA, B.Com, B.Sc, M.Com, MA, and M.Sc, are subject to qualification in the ‘College Admission Test’ and for PG programs, a merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in 10th, 12th, and graduation exam. Minimum 50% marks are required to score in total at graduation level.
Admissions for BBA, BBA (Tourism), BBA (MS), BAJMC, BCA, B.COM (Hons), B.Voc, and M.Voc are through ‘Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test’ (LUACMAT). LUACMAT is a collective venture of the colleges affiliated with the University of Lucknow. It reserves the right to conduct the entrance exam and complete the admission process through counseling.

The Placement Team at the college handles the placement activities of the students. It organises Pre-Placement Week every year in which students are provided guidance sessions, personality development sessions, lectures from the industry experts on various business related topics, interaction with alumni, sessions to build communication skills, career counseling sessions, and more.

The college has upgraded its infrastructure facilities to cope up with the present educational demands. All the departments have office rooms and common rooms. Every academic block has separate common rooms for female students. To facilitate physically challenged students, ramps and elevators are constructed in the campus. Visually challenged students are provided Audio books, Braille display, screen-reading software, and scanning facilities. The ICT infrastructures of the campus include laboratories equipped with modern equipment, computers with internet connectivity, and more.
