The NHCM caters to the needs of the differently-abled classes, as well. They have handrails at the stairways for support. Further, the toilet designs are as per their convenience and their classrooms are on the ground floor of buildings. Special parking facilities are additional provisions for these groups. The College cafeteria offers several cuisines to suit the palate of people hailing from different backgrounds. In fact, they can avail North Indian fare, Chinese dishes, and South Indian cuisine therein.
For promoting research in a host of disciplines, the College has an official annual periodical, Paviriddhi. Thus, the publication is multi-disciplinary in nature, covering issues that pertain to industry, humanities, economy, and computer science. Book reviews, dissertations, research papers, and student articles are other features of the magazine.
Also, the College offers several value-added programs that include Data Analytics, Common Admission Test (CAT) Training, Personality Development Programme, and Aptitude Training. Besides, there are SAP training courses and Certification on Social Media Marketing ones. Business Analytics using Big Data and Diploma in Capital Markets are other programs of the College.
As part of the NHCM’s Experiential Learning, the students go on educational tours and industrial visits through the College.
To lay the foundation of lifelong learning in the students, there is the Centre for Life Skills and Lifelong Learning. As such, the students receive skill training in areas of Critical Thinking, Creativity & Innovation, and Communication, and Problem Solving.
The College offers daily yoga classes to improve an individual’s physical, mental and emotional health. Yoga is inclusive of meditation, breathing techniques and asanas that benefit the students holistically.
