Maitreyi College B.Com Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, New Delhi

The score to get into b.com honors in University of Delhi is high. One needs to score 710+ in order to get into B.Com Honors in south campus if u is from general category. There are internals taken periodically then there are continuous assessments as well. The exams are also of moderate difficulty level. The external examiner also comes to take our viva. All of them collectively constitute our total CGPA so you need to study well in order to score well. I personally wanted to pursue MBA further so I opted for B.Com Honors. According to new education policy there are exams of VAC, SEC, AEC and GE as well so u gets additional skills as well.

The college is indeed known for its arts faculty but commerce was not bad either. The semester system was introduced during our time and we were the second batch to get enrolled in the semester styled B. Com program. Earlier it used to be one midterm and one annual exam. The annual exams too at that point were one and a half months long which after the introduction of semester system the times has been cut-short and trust me its better this way. Well academically the college wasn’t that rigorous but since the affiliation is with DU, one can’t escape the books at all. One night stand doesn’t work anymore as those are the things of the past. The change was for good and it has continued because this style of studies has worked.
