There are different teachers of teaching different subjects. All the faculty members are usually from PhD background, which kind of make them knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teachers usually explains stuff from the books but whenever it is required, they teach us using PPTs and smart boards as well. The faculty is good with what they teach. if you ask them anything, they'll try their best to make you understand that topic. There are sufficient teachers according to the number of students in the college. The Faculty includes professors who are well trained and educated. Most of them have studied from prestigious universities like JNU and more. The teachers regularly conduct lectures and tutorial classes and provide the students with notes, readings and extra information apart from the syllabus. Every semester 1 trip is made and once a year a fest is also held at Maitreyi College. It is suggested that one should be regular with their assignments and tests as they help during the exams.Read Full Review

The faculty's teaching style and they themselves are really nice and they are very approachable! They teach in a way which makes even boring subjects very interesting and easy to get through. All of them are very well and highly educated from various institutions and backgrounds, they have taught in other colleges of DU too. They are all also on time and are very cooperative with students when it comes to tests' deadlines or assignments. Their teaching speed is also on pace and not very high and not too slow in terms of syllabus.Read Full Review
