The Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences campus area is 14 acres. The campus at VV Puram has hospital and clinical departments and the Banashankari campus has pre-clinical and para-clinical departments. Transport facility is provided to the students.
The institute has a huge college campus which is surrounded by greenery all around that make the environment conducive for education by offering a soothing and peaceful environment to the students.
KIMS campus infrastructure is top-notch. The campus has a well-equipped library with books on various domains of medical science allowing students to get proper references for their studies and researches. The KIMS library is also equipped with the facilities of printing and photocopying, which allow the students to take and share proper reference materials as required. Also, Punjab National Bank is there on the campus along with ATM. Other banks are situated quite close to the campus.
The classrooms have proper and comfortable seating arrangement, are well-ventilated and allow students to study without any disturbance. There are well-equipped labs in each department. The college also provides bus transfers to and from its two campuses so that students can travel to and from the campus easily. Therefore this makes it very convenient for students who are from other states.
There are multiple other facilities that the institute provides including a boys hostel, girls hostel, gymnasium, auditorium facility, transportation facilities to and from the institute, IT-based infrastructure, laboratories and major medical assistance and sick room facilities in case of any emergency.
