Kirori Mal College Faculty Profile, New Delhi

The faculty is really good. Most of the professors actually teach during the class and they are very helpful. They are open to doubt solving and discussions. They are keen to teach. My favorite professor is Sir Luk Ram. He's from Zoology department. Even though I am from Commerce department, I have a SEC class in his department. Ornamental Fish Culture, it's a SEC subject taught in DU which was devised by him. His work in this field has been on news too. Oh, this is something that needs to be appreciated! The teachers are really friendly in nature. They are always there when we need some help or any guidance. Sometimes, if you get scared and hesitating in taking up a step, let me tell you this, talk to your teachers or your department members, you will really feel comfortable in reaching out to them and will be relieved of a burden.Read Full Review

Here we have to study various sub disciplines (papers) of geography in different semesters. And for each paper there are two or three professors. One of them has done his masters from a university of England. One has done his masters from reputed Jawahar Lal Nehru University. And almost each of remaining has done their graduation and masters as well from Kirori Mal College. Here I would like to share that in North campus of DU Kirori Mal College is the only college which provides geography as a course. No other North campus colleges except Miranda House which is a women college provide geography honors as a course.Read Full Review
