The Koshys College of Nursing Placement Cell has been set up on the campus. The Cell’s aim is to improve the Nursing Employability of the students, with a view of enhancing their career prospects. As such, they can serve in various roles among the Nursing fraternity.
Moreover, in the final years of the College’s courses, the pupils have various opportunities to take part in a host of employment-based and other supplementary programs. In the process, they can sharpen their nursing employability skills. Whether interview preparation or job application or writing resume, KCN’s Placement Cell extends the required assistance.
KCN hosts the Healthcare Orientation Program to develop the students’ nursing skills via stimulated activities. Before registering for the Koshys College of Nursing placements, the students are to complete this programme. The College offers platforms for Practice Placements to the pupils, too. There are voluntary healthcare centers and Hospitals to widen the exposure of the pupils, thus enabling them to work in varied settings.
The College, also, organizes several training programs for the pupils. As part of the Certification program, the students get training in all aspects of the medical industry, using the latest technologies.
The pupils can attend grooming classes, while pursuing their academic studies, as well. By doing so, they become presentable, develop good communication skills, and have pleasing personalities.
Also, the College is the first to break away from the conventions by introducing uniforms that are comfortable.
Furthermore, the Center hires grooming professionals (who come with expertise in the Fashion, Aviation, and Hospitality industry) for the students training. The team consists of skin specialists, personality development trainers, hospitality trainers, hair stylists, and soft skills trainer; they come twice in an academic year.
Besides, for offering maximum exposure to the students, the College organizes a host of community service projects. By participating in the welfare programs, the pupils have experiences that are diverse from the clinical center ones.
The College, also, has the academic orientation program for laying the foundation of the students’ life-long learning process. In the process, they become familiar with classroom-based aids and methodologies. Apart from that, they get training on the use of campus facilities, laboratories, library, stationary material, among other services.
Additionally, there are academic and personal counseling benefits that the College offers. Thus, the pupils hone their capabilities while adjusting to the different teaching methods.
