IIPH Gandhinagar

Indian Institute of Public Health was established in 2008 and is considered as the first Public Health University of the nation. It is a Joint initiative of Government of Gujarat and Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). Through education, training, and policy initiatives, it aims to strengthen the health system of the country. It is committed to make the country a global leader in health care through value-based education and research. The institute is approved by UGC.

IIPHG provides different programs which include Master of Public Health, Master of Hospital Administration, Associate Fellow of Industrial Health, PGDM, and Ph.D. To seek admission, students can fill the Application Form online through the official website and must fulfill the below mentioned Eligibility Criteria:

IIPHG provides financial aid and scholarships to the deserving and meritorious students. The scholarships are offered on the basis of different criteria such as:

• P&G Health Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to encourage the students belonging to economically and socially deprived communities to pursue their career in public health. This scholarship is available for self-sponsored candidates who are enrolled in the Master of Public Health program and are awarded to students having a good academic background. The selection process is based on the guidelines of the institute.
• Emmes Scholarship Fund: It is provided to encourage the meritorious students, students belonging to economically and socially weaker sections, female students, and candidates having related work experience and desirous of pursuing their career in public health. The selection process is based on the guidelines of the institute.
• Dr P. G. Tulpule Scholarship Fund: It is provided to encourage the students to advance their career in public health by emphasising on nutrition and allied areas.
