The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) under RBU enrolls students for the 4-year, full-time B. Tech program. The curriculum of this undergraduate program has been prepared after in-depth consultation with prominent industrial behemoths, including Siemens and Google. A student applying for this course can choose from a range of specializations including civil, electrical, automobile, mechanical, and CSE.
Any student who has cleared his or her 10+2/Intermediate from an approved national or state education board can apply. The applicant should have achieved at least 50% marks in aggregate with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as compulsory subjects.
The university also admits students for the B. Tech program via the lateral entry system. To qualify for admission through the lateral entry mode, the student must have a diploma in engineering of a certified state board. He or she should also have a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
RBU’s ‘University School of Law’, incepted in November 2014, offers a slew of programs in law, including the B.A. LLB course. The B.A. LL.B program is a 5-year, full-time, on-campus course that has the approval of the Bar Council of India. The curriculum of this undergraduate law course comprises of both law and non-law subjects.
On successful completion of the program, the student will commence career as a law officer, law researcher or judicial officer. The budding lawyer can find employment in public and private sectors as well as practice as a tax, human rights, and IPR consultant. A candidate who possesses a higher secondary pass certificate (any stream) of a recognized university or board is eligible.
Additionally, the student must attain at least an aggregate score of 45%.
The University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences registers students for the regular 4-year B. Pharm program. This undergraduate course in pharmacy imbibes students with knowledge about pharmacy, healthcare, and pharmaceutical research. Once a student completes the course, he or she can recommend cost-effective use of medications.
AICTE, UGC, and Pharmacy Council of India have approved RBU’s B. Pharm program. The university will consider the applications of all those candidates who have cleared their 10+2 final exam (pure science or bio science). At the same time, the aggregate score should be at least 50%.
Rayat Bahra University’s University School of Management Studies that offers the 2-year MBA course came up in 2006. The USMS’s MBA program educates students about different management concepts and also facilitates interaction with senior executives and industry experts. A candidate interested to pursue the university’s MBA course has the option of specializing in ‘digital marketing with Google’ or ‘Banking & Financial Analytics’.
Alternatively, a student can go for a dual specialization in ‘finance & marketing’, ‘hr and operations’, or ‘operations & marketing’ and so on. The applicant needs to have a bachelor’s degree (any stream) from an UGC approved university, having attained at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The University School of Engineering & Technology signs up students for the postgraduate M. Tech program. The curriculum of the M. Tech program which is a full-time, on campus course, is spread across two years. A student can specialize in computer science and engineering, electronics & communication engineering (VLSI Design or Embedded Systems) mechanical, civil, renewable energy or industrial engineering in his M. Tech course.
Any applicant who has a B. Tech or AMIE certificate, having scored 55% marks in aggregate can send his application.
The Master of Hotel Management & Catering course offered by USHMCT is a 2-year, full-time program. This master degree course empowers students with comprehensive information about the hospitality industry via high-quality instructions, and profound research. Students also acquire theoretical and practical knowledge by interning in a world-class hotel or an elite restaurant.
In order to apply for this program, the candidate has to have a bachelor’s degree in an identical discipline. He also must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the final qualifying exam.
