IIFT Kolkata Fees Structure & Courses 2025

The M.A Economics program is highly competitive because many students sign up for the Entrance Exam. IIFT conducts its own Entrance Exam every year that is conducted online in CBT mode. After qualifying the cut-offs of that year in the entrance exam, it is followed by a Personal Interview round that is conducted online with a two-person panel in general. The course offers a specialization in Trade and Finance that students elect in their 2nd year. The course also teaches Stata, R, and Python depending on what students opt for. The admission to the course is pretty tough. One has to qualify AI Proctoring Based Entrance Exam and Personal Interview to get admission here. This entrance exam is in online mode. Basically, all the courses taught in an undergraduate level including Economics. The course also teaches you different programming languages like STATA, Python, etc. which makes you industry ready. I think it is one of the few institutes which have these programming languages in their curriculum. This makes IIFT one of the most unique and one of the best to study economics.Read Full Review
