Jyoti Nivas College MBA Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Bangalore

I did the MBA course here. They have three electives that you can choose to specialize in and they are finance, HR, and marketing. I chose to specialize in finance. So, there are a total of four semesters, and in your first two you will take the basic management courses like accounting and finance management. In your final two semesters you can choose the electives you want and this depends on the field that you want to get into or are interested in. The elective courses were really specific to the industry, so they were helpful in getting a job and giving me exposure to my field of interest. I can say that I am happy with the academics, and it pushed me to become a better learner.

MBA sounds tough but it isn’t. The passing ratio of MBA is more than that of B.Com as students who choose MBA are engaged in studies and want to learn things. This is a major difference that you will find in students who have done MBA or PG from a regular college for that matter. Jyoti Nivas has many specialized courses that are autonomous and initially, I was allotted a seat in PGDHRM but because someone vacated a seat in MBA, I got that. The studies were more of practical sessions and HR being my specialized subject we were trained accordingly.

I did my UG from Chennai and being a B. Com (Hons) student I already studied economics and some management subjects. The specialization that I chose when I was doing my MBA was HR. This involved having core classes that teach you about management in the first two semesters. After this, I got to get into the specialized subjects of my choice. Some of the electives that I got to take were learning about the legal side of company relations, interpersonal growth, HR in the international view, and leadership building.
