Post Certificate Diploma Courses
The Goutham Colleges invites applications for several post certificate diploma courses in specializations such as Hospital Administration, Public Health Administration, Nursing Administration, and Nutrition & Dietetics.
At the College, the Directorate of Medical Education or the Government of Karnataka or Bangalore University or the Para Medical Board designs the course curriculum. Also, the Board or University introduces any changes in the syllabus. The medium of instruction of the academic programs is English.
Qualified visiting doctors and lecturers conduct the lectures and classroom sessions at the College. The specialists in the respective fields decide the topics. For the students’ clinical experience, the center allocates hospital duties in varied departments such as Family Welfare Works, Orthopedic, Community, Surgical, and Medical.
For bridging the gap between academic and professional education, the Physiotherapy students have to complete a 6-12 months internship program.
The students pursuing degree/ diploma courses have to give three Internal Examinations for every academic year. The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or the Bangalore University conducts the annual exams. The University frames the rules for promoting the students to the higher classes.
The College’s ‘Mid-Session’ and ‘Preparatory’ exams are held, respectively, in the months of October and February. Also, on a regular basis, the guardians are updated on their child’s performance. The internal exams for the postgraduate students are conducted for each semester. Moreover, the students’ overall performance and internal exam results are considered for ascertaining the Annual Exam internal assessment grades.
Every year, the University or Karnataka Government’s Board of Examinations or the Director of Medical Education conducts the Annual Public Exam.
Prior to the Public Examination, the College conducts the Trimester / Model exams, and only the successful candidates are permitted to appear for the Annual Exams. The students have to score minimum 50 percent in Theory and Practical for passing or as the Board or University decides.
The students can obtain information on the Goutham College fees at the office. After paying the fees in advance, the College will not entertain any refund requests. The College charges extra for laboratory fees, clinical fees, immunization, hostel deposit, uniform, coaching classes for English and Kannada languages, transportation services, and first aid.
The Goutham College Fee Structure is such that during admission, the students have to pay 50% of the total fees; thereafter, in 2 other installments, 25% of the fees have to be paid in each installment.
