The college offers various courses related to the department of Arts, Science & Commerce, which include BA, B.Sc & B.Com programs, and courses related to career oriented programs are also provided such as interior designing and other similar fields.
The College provides admission into General as well as Honors undergraduate programs in Arts, Science & Commerce, and admissions to career oriented courses such as, B.Voc in Beauty Therapy & Interior designing, is also provided. For admission into this college, students can apply through online or offline mode and only those candidates can apply who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for the application.
For the application of admission into the honors courses such as BA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), and general courses of BA, B.Sc, B.Com, the candidates must have to qualify 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.
For admission into B.Voc, the candidates should have qualified 10+2 examination and then only they can apply for admission.

Dr. Kanailal Bhattacharyya College provides numerous placement opportunities to the interested students through the help of its Career Counseling and Placement Cell which was established in 2005.
