The infrastructure of the University is placed in a large campus area. It has interesting co-curricular facilities for the students. Starting from the classrooms to the transportation facilities, everything posses a touch of eliteness depicting its effect on the students. The classrooms are large and spacious, fully ventilated, well-furnished reminding of the parliament. The institute also has two smart classrooms with all required facilities such as overhead projector and swivel chairs. Each classroom has a seating facility for 60 students.
The institute has a computer laboratory with full internet access. The air-conditioned lab allows the facility of online teaching also. The institute has a strong lease line connection of internet.
A large auditorium for conducting seminars, training sessions, and conferences is a part of the campus. The well-built auditorium features the best quality sound system and amazing audio-visual technology. This magnificent hall is a witness of insightful talks, knowledge sessions, and admiration of popular global personalities.
The University has a large spacious canteen consisting of proper seating arrangement and hygienic environment. The canteen serves north and south Indian breakfast, lunch, dinner and also delectable Chinese food. It also serves soft drinks, tea, and coffee with snacks in the evening. Food in the canteen is available at a reasonable cost.
The University provides sports facilities to the students by allowing them to participate in cultural, social, and sports events. There is a large playground for playing games such as cricket, volleyball, football. There are two basketball courts with proper lighting facilities. Indoor games facilities such as carrom, table tennis, and wrestling arena are there.
The students of the University have taken regular participation in the Inter-Collegiate, state, University, and national levels. Even the college organizes tournament including cricket match, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, chess, zonal level boxing, and inter engineering athletic meet. The sports facilities are looked after by the sports committee under the directorship of Shri. P. G. Dhanave (Physical), Sports professional Dr. M. Y. Gokhale, Vice President of the Gymkhana.
The bank facility is available inside the campus, making it easy for students and college members to do financial transactions directly. The Sangli Bank Ltd and Bank of India is the two bank branch available along with their ATM. There is also a ‘Western Union Money Transfer’ service available that provides the fastest access to receive money from abroad.
Keeping in mind the health requirements of the students, the college provides free medical services to them. There are dispensaries available with professional doctors to give the right treatments. Every academic year, students of the college go through medical health checkups under expert supervision.
The college owns a meditation center where students are taught the basics of practicing meditation. It aims to make students learn the art of living and excel in their academic as well as regular life. The MIT University has built up a “Meditation Temple” in the mid of green forest. The temple lies at the top of the hill at the back of World Peace Center.
