I got admission in Deshbandhu College by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University. As it's not among the mainstream colleges of DU, so I was doubtful about it. But when I went to this college on the very first day I was relieved as this is one of the best colleges I've ever visited to. The college is very good and has ample opportunities for students. We can grow our skills and widened our network with other alumni. It has other upsides also like campus space is sufficient and nearby societies is also good. The only downside is that there is no football ground. The admission process is online so kind of slow and is through CUET. The college has cafeteria and canteen at two different sites. Moreover, it has good space. Food is okay. There has always been a conflict between north and south campus of Delhi University. Most of us have an inner instinct of choosing north campus of course because those red bricked walls, air conditioned rooms, better placements and what not. But we don't always land up in life where we want to and I think sometimes that leads us to a better passage. So it was first day of college and I was kind of lost in the campus and after few days I got to know the campus is not even that big but the exposure is. Being in 3rd year I've almost explored all the societies and have participated in multiple debates and play competitions. Societies can truly help you in building confidence. Talking about academics, so all the rooms are not air conditioned but are well built and also teachers are supportive most of the times (exceptions are always there). Canteen food is average. Placements here are average and also the college has recently got NIRF ranking of 17.Read Full Review
