Having completed my PG from DSE, I wish I could have prepared myself a bit better. Having done my graduation from St Stephen's College that is just in front of DSE, never though I will be North Campus for eternity. Before joining, I hardly had any idea about the kind of course DSE provides and that Department of Economics will be this hard. Any PG course for that matter would be hard, but DSE perhaps had the toughest going in education career. My review might help the students to prepare upfront as studying at DSE is not a cakewalk. A lot of the stuff was same as UG course. From the first day itself, you will realize that you will have to work hard or things will speed away from me. Do your research project that is based on government profile as they get more attention. At DSE, you will be tested daily so work as hard as you can because once you pass out from DSE, victory will be yours.Read Full Review

When I look back now, I feel proud but back in the days; I was restless as after mild studies at undergraduate level at Presidency College Chennai, my life turned upside down. Education at D School was such that it was difficult to even go out on Sundays. One thing that Delhi School of Economics did best was that it made me become Socrates. By Socrates I mean the college made student think a lot. I should admit it that I was not that wiser but once I passed out from D School, I left it as a wiser man. One thing that I missed majorly at D School was healthy study. The reason for that is quite simple as D School hardly had any extracurricular activity. One has to study and study harder. D School is tough and getting admissions is also tough. The entrance is tough and one has to be up to date with the financial markets as many questions that came in the entrance were regarding that.Read Full Review
