Faculty members are very good and helping in nature, one can clear his/her doubt in classroom, through email or physically in office hours. All faculty members are from well-known institutions like JNU, ISI, IIT Delhi, IGIDR, MSE, and international institutions also. There are honorary professors like Amartya Sen, Jean Dreze and Manohar Singh. Method of teaching is blackboard, PPTs, and tutorials for problem solving. The faculty is top notch. They are all experts in there domain. Most of them have been DSE students themselves so they understand the pressure student is in. Many of them have done there Ph.D from IIT, IVY league, etc. They are well renowned economist in India. They use both PPT and black board while teaching. While the teacher student ratio is very low but you can always email your doubts or visit them in their office hours they will be available. The teachers are extremely helpful and sweet. The faculty in DSE is one of the best parts. Imagine being taught by scholars who are there in the syllabus itself. You will meet all the big names you have read before. As mentioned earlier, the approach here is more towards ethnography; it looks into real life examples diving deep into the subjects. However, one cannot expect the same from all the faculty members. While some can make you feel worthy of being there, others can disappoint you in some aspects. Faculty can be a part of your college experience but it’s better to not depend on them entirely.Read Full Review
