The campus of the Ramaiah Medical College is located in M. S. Ramaiah Nagar, near MSRIT Post in Bangalore. All institutions belonging to the Ramaiah Group are housed inside the 70-acre campus.
The medical college authorities encourage the students to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Such activities allow the pupils to hone their personal and professional skills as they get ample opportunities to strategize, systematize, and lead from the front. The institution has a number of sports, literary, and cultural committees steered by students and mentored by faculty.
Students organize an intra-college festival known as ‘introspection’ in which learners grouped under different medical departments participate in the fest. Once the introspection fest is over, students start making preparations for celebrating ‘College Day’. The medical college also organizes an inter-collegiate fest titled ‘Prometheus’ that witnesses the participation of DJs, comedians, and artistes.
Ramaiah Medical College continues to participate in an intercollegiate fashion show that the institution has won for 3 years consecutively.
The institute organizes 6-7 inter and intra-college sports tournaments in the formats of basketball, chess, football, and cricket. The college has a state-of-the-art gym (Maverick) equipped with all exercising equipment.
The Literary Committee issues a manual, magazine, and a newsletter in Kannada for publicizing the language amongst those who’re not conversant with the language.
