The college is affiliated to Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. The college has been accredited with “A” grade by NAAC, and approved by UGC. The college provides UG & PG courses related to various departments such as, Arts, Science, Commerce as well as Management, which include BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, B.Com, M.Com, BBA, BCA, etc.
Admission to the students is provided either on the basis of merit, or as per the guidelines prescribed by the “Director- General of Higher Education Department, Haryana”. Only the eligible candidates can apply for admission into the college. For each course, seats are fixed on the criteria of self financing as well as aided. The College has established a Training and Placement Cell, which organises various events for students, in order to train them, so that they become capable of achieving their career goals efficiently. The placement cell organises mock interviews, seminars, conferences, and training, for development of social and professional skills. Every year the college organises a Job fair, in which numerous renowned organisations participate and give employment opportunities to the students. The participating recruiters include, Axis Bank, ICICI, Godrej, Kotak Life Insurance, Nava Bharath Fertilisers, IndusInd Bank, LIC, Birla Life Insurance Company, etc.
Dayanand College Hisar has a vast infrastructure, which is situated on an area of 28 acres of land, and maximum area is dedicated to infrastructural facilities, for the students. The college provides facilities of Hostel, Sports, Library, Laboratories, etc. which are the basic amenities for the students.
