I am pursuing a Vocational Course in Materials Management (MM). This course is related to Supply Chain Management. It is one of the 7 Vocational courses provided by the College. The others are Human Resource Management (HRM), Tourism Management (TM), Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), Management of Marketing and Insurance (MMI), Marketing Management and Retail Business (MMRB) and Modern Office Management (MOM). To enroll in the Vocational courses, one must clear CUET with any of the two given combinations. There’s no such different eligibility criterion for these courses. So for admission in Vocational Studies you must have passed 12th from any recognised board and after that you can take admission first you have to give CUET UG exam (Common Universities Entrance Test) and according to the marks you scored, you'll get several college names in counseling in that you have to choose college according to your preference.Read Full Review

The course I joined was BA in Office Management and Secretarial Practices and to be honest while selecting the course I wasn't thinking about the future, I was just happy that I am going to be DU student and that too in CVS, so course became secondary for me because my ultimate goal was to study media and I didn't score so good to be getting media in DU. Merit is the eligibility criteria in CVS. But after joining the course we actually got to know how important this course and some of the subjects like shorthand or stenography is. I never really paid attention to this subject as it required time and so much practice and I wasn't committed enough, stenography is excellent if you want to ever apply for a Govt. job. Many people in my class who actually studies stenography are not preparing for Govt jobs, and since there are very less stenographers today, the demand has increased specially in Govt sector. So yes, if your aim is ever to join Govt jobs, do try and learn stenography.Read Full Review
