Jagannath University hostel accommodates boys and girls students in separate hostels. Three hostels for male students with a capacity of 150 students in each hostel are available. At present, one hostel with occupancy of 84 students is available for girls. The university has made residential provisions for faculty and staff members by allotting a separate hostel for them.

Jagannath University hostel rooms are well-furnished, ventilated, and spacious. 

Jagannath University hostel food is hygienic and decently good. Good quality food with nutritious value is served by the hostel mess. The hostel wardens are in charge of the mess.
