My Overall Experience at BITS Pilani Was Great

I am in a dual degree course offering M.Sc Physics and BE Mechanical Engineering. You will need around 250-260 / 390 marks in BITSAT to get allotted this course. Students are assigned their Engineering degree based on their CGPA performance by the end of first year. My experience at Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani

I am enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in BITS Pilani. The eligibility criteria for any of the branch in the BITS campuses is clearing the Engineering Exam BITSAT which consists of subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Mental Ability. For the first-degree programs, candidates should have passed the 12th examination with PCM subjects. Admissions are held purely based on merit and the branches like Computer Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering are given higher preference or have higher marks cutoff as compared to branches like Chemical and Civil. I enrolled in EEE branch because I had an interest in this field and wanted to pursue it.Read Full Review

75% in PCM and 60 percentage overall is required in boards to get admission along with BITSAT score. BITSAT exam is easy and NCERT based. Anyone with 12th knowledge can get a seat in this college.Read Full Review
