Bidhannagar College Kolkata Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our Bidhannagar College campus is located in Salt Lake Sector-1, covering a vast area. There are two big buildings in the campus. One is the old building and the other is the new building. The old building is used for B.Sc courses and the new building is used for BA courses. Even all the official functions of the college, student section and Principal's room are also in the new building. There are enough seats for the students in the classrooms in both the buildings. The classrooms are also quite large. Lab and practical instruments are well maintained. There is also a separate canteen for the students. There is a very big playground at the back of the campus for the students. Apart from that, there are a lot of trees throughout the campus. This expresses quite an eco-friendly environment.

As a student of Bidhannagar College, I feel really happy to study from here. All the seniors I’ve met, they are so friendly. They also play with the juniors and help them in their studies and other problems. Every year our college organizes fests, various types of competition, various programs, seminar, inter-departmental sports, annual sports, etc. Along with providing adequate education, our college also takes care of the entertainment of the students.Read Full Review

Buildings are average. The campus is huge and has greenery all around. We have a great library having 50,000+ books, with a peaceful study environment. A huge ground I available in the campus to play and for conducting sports contests.

Campus life is superb, and I have had great experiences. One of the best parts of this college is that they organise 2-3 seminars on interesting topics every month. An Annual Fest named Dhun is organised every year. Annual Sports are conducted in the winter season including games such as tug of war, football, kabaddi, cricket, race tournament, and many more.Read Full Review

The campus interior is good. Building is nice. There are two buildings: old building is less maintained then new building lift is not open till covid 19. Overall interior, classroom, everything is good. There are total 5 floors in new building, all floors are well maintained.

Overall campus life is good but there is no cultural event since covid 19. Before covid 19 there was at least one fest in year but now there is no fest in whole year. We arrange our departmental freshers otherwise there is no fresher’s fest at all. Crowd of the college is not so huge.Read Full Review
