Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

When it comes to infrastructure all the colleges of Delhi University are excellent. BRAC has a very big campus; probably the biggest ground of Delhi University is possessed by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi. Apart from the ground you can also find huge auditorium, democracy wall and other hubs which are suitable to hang out with your friends and casual college meet ups.

The campus is pretty huge and is very well maintained by the administration. However you may find some interior parts of the college quite shady but its okay. Though there is not much facility near the college, you can rely upon a good connectivity network. As our college has Gokulpuri metro station just at a 3 minute walking distance. Earlier it was a huge issue but now after the metro line and construction of over bridge just across the college campus has made the students access quite easy.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the college is good. There are 3 academic blocks in the campus. The college also has a library, computer labs, and sports and other activities. The college has a cricket and football ground and facilities for other sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and kho kho. There is also a canteen that offers food at reasonable prices to the students. A photocopy shop is also present in the campus. Overall the infrastructure is very good.

The campus life is okay. The crowd of the campus has improved in the recent years. There are local students, foreigners, and north eastern students as well in the campus. Since the locality in which the college is located is not so good therefore there is are no cafes near the college but students can go to GTB Nagar for enjoyment. The college conducts annual fests and departments also have their fests. Diwali fest is also conducted in the college. My college stands in top 10 colleges of University of Delhi when it comes to infrastructure. College covers a huge area and stands right in front of Gokulpuri Metro Station. There are 2 academic blocks, 1 block specifically for library and another for co-curricular activities. Auditorium has a capacity of 250 students in one ago and the Canteen is huge as well. There is proper medical facility. My college also has a huge ground along with basketball and football court. There is also another small ground which is used by students. There is rose garden and eco garden as well.

Campus Life is over all very good. We celebrate almost all the festivals with proper joy. Elections are the first activity that takes place when the session starts and after that, there is always some or other celebration going on. NSS of the college organises Diwali Mela every year, then there are fests by departments as well as NCC Unit of the college. Annual fests also take place at the end of February or early March. Annual function of the college takes place every year in January in which students are rewarded for their exceptional Performances in their departments. Our college also provides courses like Social Work which are rare in the colleges of Delhi University. Being here, you won't regret a second.Read Full Review
