KLE Society Law College Bangalore is one of the premier law colleges in South India. It was established as a private higher studies institution more than four decades ago. This law school has played a pivotal role in preparing students for a shining career as legal professionals. KLE Law College commenced its educational journey by registering students for a 3-year fulltime LL.B program.
After that, KLESLC introduced a combined 5-year B.A. LL.B undergraduate course in 1996. In the years to follow, the law school began offering BBA.LLB and B.Com LLB, postgraduate diploma and certificate courses. Alumni of this college have gone on to hold prestigious positions in appellate, trial, and advisory courts. They have also excelled in corporate practice, government departments, consultancy, and so on.
The Karnataka Lingayat Education Society, established in 1916, laid the foundations for KLE Society’s Law College in the year 1975. The KLE trust owns and administers 250 academic institutions in the states of Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra that offer high-quality education starting from the nursery stage right up to the postdoctoral level. KLE’s Society Law College has excelled in maintaining an academic environment appropriate for students to complete their programs effectively as well as develop their personas fully.
All programs of the law college have the approval of BCI (Bar Council of India). The Karnataka State Law University, Hubli has granted affiliation to KLESLC. This law school offers a total of 4 undergraduate, one diploma, and a suite of certificate programs in law.
India Today in its survey of “India’s Best Colleges 2017: Law” ranked the institution as the 3rd best law college in South Zone and India’s 12th best law college.
