A Training and Placements Department has been established by the college in order to provide better career opportunities and a guiding light to the students. In order to act as a link between the industry and college, various events, seminars, and training sessions are organised by the training and placement department for making the students industry ready. Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Live Projects, Skills and Personality Development Training, Group Discussion, and several other events are also organised by this department for proper training of the students.

Various organisations are invited by Baba Farid College for an in-campus placement program in order to offer a wide range of career opportunities to the students. Some of these companies are Reliance Industries Limited, Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture Public Limited Company, Walmart, Amazon, HCL Technologies Limited, IBM Corporation, Tech Mahindra, ITC Limited, Genpact, DLF Limited, Hero MotoCorp, Havells, HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank, Coca Cola, Iffco Kisan, Jaro Education, Trident Group, and many more.

Baba Farid College has a state-of-art infrastructure with various facilities in order to provide a positive and effective learning environment to the students. Keeping in mind the importance of the internet in today’s life, the college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi facilities that can be accessed by the students at anytime and anywhere in the campus. The college provides accommodation facilities for boys and girls separately along with a mess. Well furnished AC rooms with different facilities are provided for the comfort of students. In addition to this, transport facilities are also provided to the students at reasonable prices for removing the distance barrier. • Library: The campus has a air conditioned and spacious library that has a wide collection of books and journals related to different departments and programs. The library provides a peaceful environment for reading and learning. A reading room is also available in the library that is provided for students to read books. It has a collection of approx 63,564 books and more than 150 journals and magazines. A Digital library is also available for the students and faculty members that can be accessed from anywhere. It has a wide collection of more than 6000 national and international e-journals and e-books.
• Cafeteria: The campus has 3 cafeterias for the students that serve different beverages, snacks and meals. A clean and well maintained NESCAFE, Juice Bar, and Fast Food point is set up for the students where they can relax and enjoy their meals.
• Sports: Properly maintained cricket ground along with other courts for sports like Volleyball and BasketBall are also available in the campus. Beside this, indoor games like Table-Tennis, Carrom Board, and Chess are also present in the college.
• Other Facilities: Medical facilities are available for the students in the campus. In addition to this, a 24x7 ambulance facility is also available in the campus if needed in an emergency. The college also offers banking services to the students in association with Punjab National Bank.
