BMS College for Women [BMSCW], Bangalore was established in the year 1964 as a Public Educational Institution. BMSCW Bangalore is accredited by NAAC-A, and is affiliated with BU, Bangalore. BMS College for Women is situated in Bangalore city, Karnataka. The institute was established in 1964. The college was granted the status of being autonomous in the academic year 2021-2022. The institute is accredited with a grade point “A” by the NAAC. The institute is even recognized by the UGC. The institute is affiliated with the BCU, Bangalore, and was set up by Late Sri B.S. Narayan. And till date, the college is supported and taken care of by the educational trust known as BMS Educational Trust. It is a branch of the BMS Institutions.

UG courses in different streams like Commerce, Arts, Science, CS, Business administration, and Vocation are offered at the college. At BMS College for Women the Placement Cell was formed back in the year 1999. And since then the cell is working tirelessly to bring in the best of companies to the campus for the student placements.
