Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

AMU has good infrastructure; it has both retro and modern buildings. It has beautiful gardens like Gulistan-E- Syed and duck garden (it has actual ducks), sport complex, different clubs like horse riding club to debate club (I am part of this club) and world-famous library -Maulana Azad Library.

The campus life is fun and full of students who come from different parts of India and even from different countries. Every department has their own fests, and the main annual cultural festival is "SIR SYED DAY". This is when AMU students meet together and celebrate Founder’s Day. The Infrastructure of the faculty of law is "appreciable". The College is fully air-conditioned. Also, There are various RO water coolers for drinking water facilities for the students. The premises are clean and fully protected under the vigilance of various guards and gatekeepers. The premises are fully covered by CCTV Cameras which are being continuously watched from the Dean's Office. The belongings of students are completely safe on the premises as I have witnessed myself multiple times, whether the belongings are precious or ordinary.

The campus life of the University is not as dreamy as you may find in other colleges. Here mostly educational and informative seminars are arranged and conducted not fests and parties. The traditional values can be seen in the university's fresher and farewell parties. The university focuses on the safety of women within its premises. Loud music of any type is not welcomed here. The infrastructure of the department is quite good and it is being constantly improved. The college has its own library, which we call the seminar area. There is a moot court hall which is very big and spacious. All the events happening in the college are organised there. The staff of the college is also very supportive.

One can find a huge variety of students coming from different backgrounds at the university. It is truly a representation of the diversity of India. Strict adherence to uniform is mandatory at all times. Many fests of the different departments are conducted regularly. There is a Literary Club, Cultural Club, Drama Club, Singing Club, etc.Read Full Review
