In 1962 with a mission to train and empower young women with the practical capabilities and academic excellence required to face corporate challenges, JD Birla Institute was founded as a private institute under the affiliation of Jadavpur University. The Institute got its approvals and recognition from NAAC and certification from NIRF and AISHE.

*For all the PG programs, Applicants also have to pass the Personal Interview / Entrance Test, which is one of the Selection Criteria of the Admission Process.
