The university plays a crucial role in providing job and employment opportunities to the students and at VNSGU, to ensure constant growth and development, the university has established a Training and Placement Cell. This cell is created to organise various placement tasks and activities in various departments and as per the interest of the students. The major objectives of this cell are:

• To bridge the gap between the recruiting companies and students so that they can have mutual discussions and understandings.
• To conduct pre-placement sessions in which mock interviews, aptitude tests, and GD are conducted to prepare the students for the HR round.
• To organise regular career counselling programs for the students so that they can make up their minds for their future without any doubt or confusion.
• To maintain professional relations with the recruiting companies and invite them for on-campus placement drives.
• To provide internship opportunities to the students so that they can understand the work life and corporate nature closely.

The Training and Placement Cell collaborates with various departments to organise multiple activities which guide the students through their placement sessions and helps them in developing confidence. Some of these activities are:

• Awareness about the latest technologies and trends
• Industrial visits, seminars, study tours, guest lectures, etc
• Development of Entrepreneurship Skills in Students
• Developing problem-solving and quick decision-making skills
• Provide off-campus projects and summer project works
• Resume building exercises

Located at Post Box No. 49, Udhna Magdalla Road, the campus of the university is spread on an area of 210 acres and there are more than 100 buildings inside. The infrastructure of the university is continuously upgraded and equipped with all the tools & technologies that can serve the students and fulfill their academic needs. To provide the students with a positive and healthy campus environment, the university has established various cells that help the students in resolving their problems. The names of such cells are Anti-Ragging Cell, Psychological Guidance Cell, Women Development Cell, Grievance Redressal Cell, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, etc. The university has well-established classrooms with digital teaching facilities; the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled an instrument center that provides access to various tools like 3D printer and gas-chromatography, an amphi theater, and a studio with hi-tech video & audio recording & editing facilities. The university has a state-of-the-art Museum that preserves unique flowers, seeds, and plants. There are some other amenities and facilities that this university offers, and these are:

• Library: The University has a well-established and spacious Central Library that has a total carpet area of 9569.50 sq. ft. and offers excellent academic facilities to the students. The library covers almost every course provided by the university and fulfills all the academic requirements of the students. The library has more than 1.90 lakh books, references, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, project reports, dissertations, etc. The library has an e-section as well that offers e-resources like e-books, e-journals, online thesis, and other online databases. The Central Library has a reading room with 100+ reading tables and comfortable seating, excellent lighting, computer systems, paper clippings, reader’s guidance, and various other services.
• Laboratories: At VNSGU, students get the opportunity to explore and use their theoretical knowledge as the university has established various labs as per different courses. The labs are fully furnished, equipped, and allow the students to perform various experiments and learn new things.
• Hostel: The University provides 6 girls’ and 6 boys’ hostel facilities to the students who come from out-station. The campus of the hostel has a homely atmosphere. The rooms are fully furnished, spacious, and clean. The university also has hostels for those belonging to the socially backward section of society. The hostellers are provided with various services and facilities that help them in fulfilling their day-to-day needs. A dining hall/mess facility is also available in the hostel that offers healthy and delicious meals to the hostellers. Warden, security guards, and CCTV cameras are present in the hostel campus for the safety and security of the students.
• Sports: The University holds a world-class sports infrastructure and facility that has the capability of organising national and international tournaments. It has outdoor and indoor sports facilities and games like a Swimming Pool, a Boxing Ring, 400 meters Race Track, a Cricket Ground, Volleyball, Rifle Shooting, Table Tennis, Judo, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, a Basketball Court, etc. The cricket ground is equipped to organise on and off-campus national & state-level BCCI-sponsored events and tournaments. VNSGU encourages its students to take part in various sports and expert coaches & trainers are also present on the campus to train them. A multi-purpose gymnasium with well-equipped tools is also present on the campus.
• Canteen: The University has a spacious canteen facility that is well-furnished and offers a delicious menu to the students at affordable rates.
• Convention Hall: The University has a convention hall with an air conditioning facility. This hall is hi-tech and can accommodate 1100+ people in one go. This place is used to organise various programs and events like cultural fests, award ceremonies, annual functions, etc.
• Health Facilities: The health of the students is the major priority of the university and therefore it has established an active Health Centre with 3 rooms. This Health Centre is capable of providing intensive health care and services as it is managed by experienced doctors and nurses, and it is equipped with all major medical tools like an ECG facility, First Aid and Oxygen Concentrator. In case of emergency, the Health Centre also provides ambulance facility.
• Facilities for Differently Abled Students: VNSGU provides special infrastructure to differently-abled students as there are Divyang-friendly facilities like wheelchairs and ramps with railings. Some departments also have special disabled-friendly washrooms and lifts. To help differently-abled students access the library, a screen reader extension is installed in the computers which will allow the user to convert all the text into speech.
