Guru Nanak Educational Trust laid the foundation of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT Kolkata in 2003 under the umbrella of JIS Group Educational Initiatives. GNIT Kolkata Placements activities help students in their overall development and enhance their desirable capabilities to enlighten them about particular industry standards. Training & Placement Cell arranges all the facilities for students so that they can grab good placement opportunities and enhances their competitive spirit. The Cell works on increasing the knowledge of students about the recruitment process along with creating awareness among organisations about the placement opportunities at the college.
