Scottish Church College Faculty Profile, Kolkata

The faculty members that teach us are pretty basic. A handful of them really know what they are doing. However, all of them come from a pretty solid background. All of them PhD degrees from foreign countries. All the others just show PPTs to teach which is not useful at all, Although the teacher student ratio is pretty good being a heritage college and all. Students are twice or sometimes thrice the number of faculties. Among all these faculties, few are really approachable and really know what they are doing. Currently there are five fulltime professors. all of them are well qualified. They are very friendly, approachable and helpful. Some of them use presentations while others use the chalk and board for teaching. They provide hands on education in practical and the students are allowed to work on their ideas as well.Read Full Review

There are four professors teaching in our department. All of them are Ph.D holders and have completed their studies from reputed colleges and Universities. Our respected professors are highly specialised in particular domains of political science. All of them have their unique mode of teaching. Surely, I've gained a lot of extra knowledge apart from the syllabus. They provide us with extensive notes and lectures. Also quite a good number of seminars are held related to different topics which further help us to gain insight into the real world scenario.
