Candidates interested in taking admissions in FPM and EFPM must submit their Application Form online for the Entrance Test. The students who qualify in the Entrance Test will be called for Personal Interview and Research Proposal Presentation.

Other category candidates must qualify in any Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in order to get admission in PGDM programs offered here.
Candidates sponsored by Corporates or NRIs, have to submit a Sponsorship Letter from the Organisation. Their sponsoring organisation must have an annual turnover of Rs. 50 Crore and must reflect in their latest financial statement.
NRI and NRI Sponsored Category candidates must submit a copy of Passport and Visa duly attested by the concerned authorities as specified by the institute.
Candidates belonging to PIO / Foreign Nationals / OCI / SAARC Nationals / Wards of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries need to submit proof of their nationality in these countries. Admissions in this category will be considered based on the Merit.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates qualifying above-mentioned eligibility criteria need to appear for Selection Process that consists of Extempore (EXTM) and Personal Interview (PI). The Selection Criteria will be based on the performance of candidates in EXTM, PI, Competitive Examinations, and Academic Record. These candidates will also be evaluated based on their Work Experience.
* BIMTECH fills 85% of the admissions seats through General Category. Around 5% of seats are filled through the Economically and Social Challenged Category. The remaining 10% of seats are filled through NRI / NRI Sponsored / Corporate Sponsored Category.

Birla Institute of Management Technology has a Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) that provides various opportunities so that the students are placed in their preferred career by educating them about the specific industry’s requirements. It focuses on developing relationships with the national and multinational companies to promote industry-academia interface.
The institute also has a Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) which is responsible for inspiring, educating, and empowering budding entrepreneurs to create business ventures. Before being finally placed each student has to undergo 3 months summer project and minimum two short terms or live projects.
