Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) Technical Campus was founded in 1974 by the textile industry and Government of India. It is the only textile research association within India with ISO certification. It is approved by AICTE and recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. NTC is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
