The university works majorly on providing great placement opportunities and experiences to the students. DSU has established a well-functioning and effective Training and Placement Cell (T&P) that acts as a middleman between the companies and the university and provides the students with the opportunity to interact with renowned companies and organisations. This cell always keeps the students informed about the upcoming placement opportunities and guides them throughout the process. Students are also provided with various internship and industrial training opportunities that depict the actual work and field environment and provides an experience on how industries are run. This cell also provides the students with the option of training in both advanced and traditional techniques. Career Counselling is also provided to the students which helps them in making the best career decisions and resolving problems. The T&P Cell prepares the students for the interviews by working extensively on their personality, analytical skills, communicational skills, technical skills, resume-building skills, etc. The cell also conducts mock interviews, written tests, and GDs to train the students.

The cell believes in regular interaction between the students and the organisations and therefore, it organises and conducts various national seminars, workshops, live talk sessions, industrial visits, technical talks, etc. Training and Placement Cell invites various companies for in-campus placement drives and for this, it follows a process, that is:

• The placement preparations start with Training the students followed by meeting with the companies.
• During the meeting, the university shares the profiles of the deserving students.
• The pre-placement talk takes place and potential students’ resumes are shared with the companies.
• Short-listed candidates are then called for interviews.
• Finalised students are then offered the Appointment Letter by the company. 

The companies that visit DSU for the purpose of recruitment are Tata Consultancy Services, Way to Web Private Limited, Webking Solutions, Silverwing Technologies Private Limited, InfoString TechnoLabs Private Limited, Croods Consolidates Private Limited, Addon Solutions, CK Birla Group, Angel Infotech, Avira Technologies Solutions & Services, Reliance Jio, etc.

Located at Dr. Subhash Road, Joshipura, the campus of the university is green, student-friendly, and positive. The infrastructure of DSU is equipped with all the tools and techniques that are required in an academic hub. The university always works on making the premises a positive and healthy place for students and to achieve this, it has established an Anti-Ragging department, SC & ST department, Women Development Committee, etc. Also, to facilitate students with disability, the university has established a Physical Disabilities Grievance Redressal Cell. This cell resolves all the issues and problems of the students with disabilities and works after providing helpful services. To cheer the mood of the students and to refresh their minds, DSU celebrates various events and functions like Kite Festival, Diwali Celebration, Republic Day, Ganesh Utsav, Yoga Day, Garba Nights, etc. The university owns smart classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements, round-the-clock Wi-Fi services, lecture halls, and other amenities and facilities like:

• Library: The library of DSU works with the motto that says ‘information is for use’. The library has an excellent collection of online and offline reading materials along with smooth internet and computer facilities. There are approximately 21000 books, 50+ magazines, 950+ fiction and nonfiction books, 450+ question papers, 50+ national and international print journals, etc. The digital section has 95+ e-magazines, 750+ e-books, 780+ CDs & DVDs, 90+ e-journals, 4500+ videos, etc. All these materials present in the library cover all the programs and its related issues. To add more knowledge and information among the students, the library also has a collection of General Knowledge Books, Motivational Books, Self-Help books, Books with solutions for competitive examinations, and many more. The library of DSU is spacious, well-lit, and perfect for students who want to gather information.
• Hostels: The University has constructed two separate hostel areas for boys and girls offering excellent housing space and environment. The rooms of the hostels are well furnished, maintained, clean, and spacious. For entertainment purposes, the hostels also have indoor and outdoor gaming facilities along with other recreational activities. The mess area of the hostel provides deliciously cooked meals to the students and the seating area is also spacious.
• Cafeteria: The University has a centrally located cafeteria that serves delicious cooked meals to the students, prepared in a clean and hygienic environment. It serves a variety of snacks and beverages to the students at affordable prices. The atmosphere of the cafeteria is friendly and helps the students refresh their minds in between the lectures.
• Transportation: The University provides transport services to the day scholars. These buses are very comfortable and cover major locations like Junagadh City, Dhoraji, and Jetpur. The buses are run by expert drivers, and it reaches & leaves the destination as per the pre-decided time.
• Medical Facilities: Medical facilities are available in the university to provide health benefits to the students. Expert and experienced medical officers are present inside the campus to cover up any medical emergency.
