KSIT has a Department of Placement and Training which is responsible for providing adequate internship and placement services to students. It also provides facilities for recruitment process such as group discussion rooms, seminar hall for presentations, interview and discussion rooms, conferencing facilities, etc. It organises pre-placement training, job fairs, and conducts on-campus, centralised and off-campus placement programs for students. It also has a placement Office which coordinates and arranges industrial visits, guest lectures, on-site training, etc.

The institute also has a Training and Placement Cell which conducts talent search to provide recruitment opportunities to students. It provides technical training which helps students to acquire required skills. It organises workshops, seminars, industrial visits, personality development modules, orientation program, etc. for students.

Some of the recruitment partners include Bosch, HCL, Infosys, Mindtree, TCS, Capgemini, Adobe, IBM, Amazon, Virtusa, Mphasis, Sonata Software, Wipro, CGI, Accenture, HP, Cognizant, NTT Data, Quest Global, KPMG, Mercedes Benz, Intellipaat, Hexaware, etc.

KSIT Bangalore has laboratories, seminar halls, smart classrooms, clubs, extra-curricular activities, etc. It has various infrastructure facilities and it is surrounded by CCTV cameras for security purpose. Other facilities provided to students include:

• Library: It is a resource centre which is spread over 9500 square feet and can accommodate 180+ students. The first floor of the library includes stack area, circulation counter, new arrival section, technical processing section, etc. The second floor has reading room, reference section, discussion room, newspaper section, journals section, digital library, etc. Library has a collection of 5100+ titles, 36000+ volumes, books, project reports, journals, question papers, course materials, CDs, 6600+ online journals, 18000+ online books, etc. It provides inter library loan, newspaper clipping, reference, institutional repository, reprography, NPTEL, OPAC services, etc.
• Hostel: Separate accommodation facilities are provided to male and female students of the institute. Hostels are equipped with furnished rooms, study room, TV room, gym, indoor games, dining area, CCTV, water purifier, washing area, etc.
• Canteen: It can accommodate 90+ students and provides variety of meals and refreshments. The canteen has a dining area, advanced kitchen, and provides healthy, hygienic, and clean food including South Indian breakfast to Chinese cuisine and meals at affordable prices to students. 
• Sports: The institute has a Department of Physical Education and Sports which conducts sports activities for students. This includes Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Handball, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc. It aims to help students develop an all-round approach by providing them opportunities to enhance their problem solving skills, teamwork, socialisation skills, boost self-confidence, etc.
