Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology has a different department assigned to place the students by training them. It does the same on the basis of their interests in various fields. The department is known as the Training and Placement Department aka TPD.

Some major functions of the T&P department are:

• To ask the companies to visit the college campus for recruitment.
• To maintain and share the information database with companies so that they can see the eligibility of the particular individual.
• To conduct sessions for the technical and skill development of the student so that they can perform outstanding in the placement drives.

The norms and regulations that are followed by the T&P department are as follows:

• The final-year and graduated students are eligible to participate in the placement drive after meeting the requirements of the company.
• It is compulsory for the students to participate in the development sessions conducted by the department.
• If the students have been selected by the company visiting the campus then they have to join the company.
• The students participating in the placement drives should have a proper formal dress code with identity cards.

The companies that have offered students a new future are BYJU’S, Amazon, HP, Course Code, TATA, Multiplier Solutions, Karvy, Eidiko, HGS, Geoinfosys, Sunera Tech, Campus Marg, Genpact, Westline, Indian Eagle, Mordor Intelligence, Direct Dialogue, Dhruvsoft. Mphasis, Zenus Group, Pinnacle Generators, MAQ Software, and many more have also visited.

Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated at the center of Hyderabad city. The college has a green campus with all kinds of modern means such as computing centers, Wi-Fi facilities, and labs. The college also has workshops, an auditorium, tutorial rooms, staff rooms, classrooms, seminal & lecture halls, libraries, etc. Their features are:

• Library: The 750 sq. meters library has a seating facility of 170 persons and has open access to all students and staff members. It has an ample number of more than 39000 volumes of 3000+ titles of all categories. It also has a facility for e-books or e-learning managed by the J-Gate, DELNET, and IEEE Xplore Digital Library with high-speed internet.  It provides access to all the online materials required for learning and reading such as e-books, e-newspaper & magazines. It also includes e-journals, e-question banks, previous year test papers, and competitive test pacers, etc.

• Auditorium: The College has an auditorium accommodating 300 students at a time. It is well furnished with comfortable seats, air-conditioning, good sound systems, and decent interiors. The auditorium is designed for conducting small sessions, seminars & webinars, and co-curricular events.  It is also used to broadcast videos for educational activity purposes as it has all modern hearing and visual tech.

• IT Centre: There is an IT center in the college which comprises biometric scanners for attendance, and e-mail services to log into specific portals for teachers and staff members. There is a computer lab with 100 computers, and a wi-fi connection of 100 Mbps. It is connecting all the computers through LAN in the college including the main block. The computer centers are equipped with air conditioning facilities for the computers to cool down. All the IT facility is backed up by UPS and a diesel generator.

• The college also has some basic facilities such as transportation buses that pick up and drop the students and faculties at their destination. There is a cafeteria that provides fresh foods such as juices, snacks, Frankies, etc. The food is passed through a quality inspection every once in a while by the canteen committee. The college also has clubs like NSS, cultural clubs, and sports clubs that help students to stay in shape both physically and mentally.
