Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University was established in 1997 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is the first full-fledged Law University which works towards achieving equality, social progress, fraternity, and equal justice. TNDALU promotes and provides access to legal education and develops the students to serve the society in the law field by developing their skills related to advocacy, law reforms, legal services, and legislations.
TNDALU is a State University approved by UGC, recognised by BCI and AIU, and accredited by NAAC.
Vision: To become a premier institute which provides legal education, promotes research, and emphasises on professionalism with Trans-disciplinary approach with an objective of achieving social justice.
