St Xavier's College was established in 1955. It provides higher education in domains of arts, commerce, science, and computer science. It is the first college in Gujarat which is accredited by NAAC with 5 stars. In 2006, it was recognised as a College with potential for Excellence and was awarded the Autonomous Status by UGC.
