NIFT Gandhinagar provides experienced and top faculties of the country. My course had more than 15 faculties and staff members. Likewise, the college has other 4 design courses and 2 master's courses with the same or around faculty ratio. The professors, as well as assistant professors, have an average experience of 5-7 years in the apparel industry. Most of the faculties completed their bachelors and masters in textiles and manufacturing. Some of them are the alumnus of different NIFT centers. Some of them are Ph.D. holders as well as awarded internationally. All of them irrespective of the course or subject they teach have a stronghold of the subject. The pedagogy followed is impressive and all classes after they are conducted add a lot to the learning curve.Read Full Review

I wasn't that highly impressed with the faculty as they were more of conveyors. They would bring in slides and show us stuffs. Their contribution was low as they just guided us and our work was judged by others. Their feedbacks too weren't that great as some of them were good teachers but unaware of the technicalities of the fashion business. Our work and marks were decided by others and not the faculty. I honestly don't have much to say about them as their role was quite limited.Read Full Review
