Note: For admission in the UG courses (except B.A.LL.B / LL.B (Hons.) / LL.M), students belonging to the SC / ST categories are required to pass the respective qualifying exam. 5% relaxation in the qualifying aggregate marks is granted to the OBC & PwBD candidates. Additionally, they must have appeared in the CUET.
Note: There will be a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for the SC / ST / PwBD candidates & 3 years for the students belonging to the OBC Category for admission offered in respective programs at the University.

Admission Process
Candidates will be offered admission seats in the desired UG & PG courses on the basis of their merit marks in the CUET. For obtaining admission in the Postgraduate programs, students (except Foreign Nationals) have to apply through the Combined Allotment Program – Postgraduate 2025 (CAP-PG 2025) of the BHU Varanasi.
* The Major in the B.A (Hons.) Arts & B.Sc Hons. Agriculture will be allotted to the students during admission / counselling.
