Indian Institute of Management [IIM Lucknow] established in 1984 is a Autonomous University, currently having 7th position in NIRF Ranking 2024. IIM Lucknow is approved by UGC. The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow which is famously known as IIM Lucknow is one among the four campuses established by the renowned IIM family of management schools. The other three campuses are: IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Ahmedabad. It was established in the year 1984 and is presently working as an Autonomous University with the approval of UGC.
Vision: The institute envisions becoming a prominent center of academics by disseminating management education to produce socially conscious leaders at global level.
Mission: Its mission is to provide excellent management education, research, training, and consultancy to improve the management systems of business, industry, and public services.
IIM Lucknow runs a number of PG and research programs like PGPWE, IPMX, EFPM, FPM, PGP-ABM, PGP-SM, MBA-E&I, and more.
Candidates seeking admission to the institute must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the respective courses and go through all the stages in the selection process consisting of entrance exam, academic and professional profile, written ability test, and personal interview. In the selection criteria 10% weightage is given on written ability test and 30% weightage to the rest selection stages.

IIM Lucknow supports a number of scholarships like Industry Sponsored Scholarships, SC / ST Scholarships, Central and State Government Scholarships, and Alumni Sponsored Scholarships. IIM Lucknow students avail Need Based scholarships based on their annual family income on a condition that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. This scholarship is for one year with no auto renewal. Also, students should be mindful that they cannot avail more than one scholarship at a time. Scholarships are not applicable in all courses. Students pursuing PGPWE, IPMX and EFPM are not given any scholarships.

At IIM Lucknow students are groomed to become ethical business leaders who are capable of leading the business globally. Summer internships are facilitated to help students understand the work ethics and real time situations of different organisations.
IIM students’ potential to lead the business and to understand the current business trends has increased the recruiter list at the institute. The companies participating in the placement process include some big names like Accenture, Genpact, Infosys, L&T Infotech, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Virtusa, Realization Technologies, EXLService, Exide Industries, Axis Bank, and more.
IIM Lucknow campus is spread over 190 acres of land surrounded with a serene environment at Prabandh Nagar. It is located about 21 kms from Lucknow Railway Station. There are beautiful lawns, flower beds, and a number of trees standing in rows adding to the beauty of the campus. The campus is fully residential offering accommodation to about 500 students and 75 faculties. There is a shopping complex with all the requisite facilities making it a self contained campus. Moreover mini Departmental stores are also functioning in the campus serving the daily requirements of the students. The other facilities available in the campus include Post Office, Cafeteria, Tea / Coffee Vending machines, Communication Centre, etc.
Apart from offering a homely atmosphere and necessary facilities for living, the campus also has world class academic facilities. The Computer centre of the institute is open 24 hours a day to provide relevant information from all around the world. The library of IIM Lucknow which is known by the name Gyanodaya is housed in a two story building covering a 30,000 square foot area. It is the knowledge hub for the students and is open 24x7.
A health centre and dispensary is operating in the campus providing medical support and medicines to the students and staff. Sporting facilities are also available in the campus to enhance the overall personality of the students.
