SPPU (UniPune) Placements: Average & Highest Package 2024, Pune

Pune University has Placement cell. Placement cell does help students acquiring jobs in the industry but it differs across the departments. Generally majority students of department like chemistry, computer science, and other science discipline get a job. But humanities department students have to rely on faculty reference. Placements started in February and are still on. I see my seniors going back and forth preparing for the placements. I interacted with some of my seniors and already 70% of them have been placed as most of them have been picked by Bajaj Auto where they did their internship. Many have also been placed with higher packages in domestic and international banks operating in India. The average placement looks around 5-6 Lakhs while one of my known has already signed a contract worth 10 lakhs with Kotak Mahindra Bank. Placements might not end at 100% but the ones with caliber will find no problem in getting placed to the sort of industry they want.Read Full Review

The placements of PUMBA are superb without a doubt. Almost our entire batch was placed who chased placements. Nearly all the companies that had their offices or manufacturing plants in Pune were the ones who came for placements. I fell in love with the city and didn't mind a bit working in Pune for the rest of my life. The average placement was around 6 lakhs as in our group, we all had same packages even if in different companies. Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, and others were the companies where maximum students from our batch were placed. Since I have already mentioned Welingkar's in my review, I also checked the average placements of Welingkar's in 2019, and it was 7.5. A job of 7.5 lakhs in Mumbai against a job of 5.5 lakhs in Pune. I can bet the offer from Pune is much better.Read Full Review
