Savitribai Phule Pune University placements are unbelievable. Most colleges be it engineering, commerce, science or management colleges, all affiliated colleges of the university are adept in providing placements. Engineering colleges like COEP, and others, and management colleges like PUMBA, or Indira for that matter. The university too have a dedicated placement cell that looks after the placements of the students. All the university students are free to enrol there and get placed through their University Placement Program.
Other affiliated colleges of the universities like Symbiosis, BMCC, VIT, SNJB’s College of engineering has managed placement percentage of more than 50 odd percent. In 2021, too, the university managed a highest placement of 26.40 LPA. The towering building of the University of Pune (UniPune) used to be the house of the Bombay governors during the British Raj. The University is majorly identified with its Main Building. The main block is one of the most monumental blocks as it’s a British architecture marvel. The Dean’s chamber, Vice-Chancellor office, and all the university Records Section are in the main block. There are many seminar halls and where academic meetings takes place. Some of the most used seminar halls are Sant Dnyaneshwar Sabhagriha, Yashwantrao Chavan Sabhagriha, Sant Gadge Maharaj Sabhagriha, and Shivaji Sabhagriha. The campus also houses PUMBA, one of the university’s top management schools. The university library has books of history and the new age world as the library of the university has been preserved since last 150 odd years.

Jayakar Knowledge Resource Center established in January 1950 is the central library of Savitribai Phule University. The library named in honor of Dr. M.R. Jayakar, the first vice-chancellor of the University. Services such as Internet Searching and printing, Reprography, Book lending, Inter-Library Loan, Reference Services, Extended reading room availability, and Literature search service are for the students.
The University has computer system well-modified with 60 states of art PCs and Desktop with a high-speed internet connection. The campus has a connection to superb Wi-Fi network.

The library subscribes for digital learning content from a database of EBSCO online.
